Thanks to Wadeen and Boots the straw has been laid to cover the new dirt and seed at Round Lake Park. With all of the work done by our Cinosam neighbors, the park is going to look beautiful next spring!
The minutes from the September 3rd and October 1st Board Meetings have been posted to the website. You can find the these and other meeting minutes under the heading of Club Business.
Even more ways to communicate!! The Gull Lake Bulletin Board has been repaired and is ready for Cinosam postings thanks to Boots and Mark McDonald. Also, new solar lights have been installed on the gate at the park entrance so we can stroll down to the park for some star gazing.
The painting of the round lake fence is complete, the dirt is spread, and we will cover the seed with straw this morning if anyone wants to help. Thanks to Boots, Barb Simon, Jarrett Leas, Waydeen Baribeau, Kathy Becker, Julie Carroll, Ken Kunze, and to Gary Zurn for going above and beyond by painting both the fence AND the Round Lake neighbor’s bird houses. How is that for fostering good Cinosam relationships?
The final Cinosam Club Board Meeting of 2016 will be held on Saturday October 1st at 9:00AM in the park. In case of inclement weather we will gather at Julie Carroll’s house across the street. The agenda follows:
Agenda for Saturday October 1st Board Meeting
Cinosam Club – 9:00 AM at the Park
We are planning to paint the fence (using the left over paint from the park fence) and spread black dirt and seed at Round Lake this fall. Boots thinks if we can come up with six volunteers on Tuesday and Wednesday September 27-28 starting at 9:00AM we can get it all done this year. Come and join us if you can. Happy Fall!
Trevor would like all Cinosam boats off the lifts and out of the water by October 7th. He will be in to do our dock work shortly after that, with weather always being a factor in his schedule.
This year, Jarrett will be tagging each boat lift with a simple number tag prior to removal in October. The tag will have only a printed number on it, identifying which slip the lift belongs in, and this number will also correlate to a master Cinosam Club diagram he will keep of our boat slips. On this diagram, he will have boat owners name and contact info. He asks that the tags be left attached to each lift, or if the owner prefers it moved to another location on the lift, that is fine. The tags will be a light plastic, fasted with a zip tie and should not cause any damage from wind or corrosion.
An updated Boat Slip Waiting List will also be posted on the website under Boats and Docks.
Round Lake Park is looking good. If you haven’t had a chance to see it go on over, take a look around, and enjoy the beautifully updated surroundings.
There are new canoe racks, flower plantings, a newly mended fence, black dirt was delivered, leveled and seed was planted. There is also a great group of Cinosam members that are keeping the flowers watered, the lawn mowed and the area picked up. Special thanks to all of the volunteers:
Meet your friends and neighbors for the Cinosam Oktoberfest celebration!
The fence is painted and it looks great. It was a several-day effort but well worth it and I think we also had a good time visiting with our Cinosam friends and neighbors. Thank you to all of the volunteers for donating your time to this community effort:

And Stan & Bonnie, we love the brown mulch you put under the trees on the north side of the park. Looks fantastic!
